    Integrated Geometry / Applied Algebra

    1.  Three fifths of the class completed the marathon in an exact time of  three hours.  One fifth of the class finished finished the marathon in an exact time of four hours while the final fifth finished the marathon in the exact time of five hours.  If there
    is 20 students in the class, what is the class' average time? Range? Mode? Median? 

    2.  Distributive: 6 (34-12) =  

    3.  2/9  + 7/8=

    4. The class ordered 50 pounds of cookies.  2/5 of the cookies were oatmeal raisin. 1/2 of the remaining cookies were chocolate chip. The rest were sugar.  How many sugar cookies are there?

    5.  What is the area in of a rectangular room with walls that have a perimeter of 20cm?  

    6. What is the area of circle that has the radius X!   2 (X + 6) = 72
