PROCESS

1.You will be divided into teams of 5.


2.Each team member will be assigned a role of one of the Fabulous Five.


3.Each team member will explore websites to research where his or her food group fits on the food pyramid, what foods are in his group, and how many servings are needed each day.


4. Each team member will compile a list of ten interesting facts about their food group!


5. Each team will create a meal or a "specialty dish" that includes at least one serving of each team member's food group.


6.  Students will collectively create a 30 second commercial.  In the commercial they must name their restaurant, their "specialty dish:, and persuade the audience to eat it!


7. Each team member will  create an advertisement using the given materials to persuade others that their food group is the best.  Each advertisement must include an imperative sentence, 5 very descriptive adjectives, and 5 highly enticing illustrations!


8.Each team will create a slide show showing a good, appetizing, and healthy meal and a nutritious snack.
